The Ethereum mainnet turns 10 years old on July 30th. But did you know that the Copenhagen Ethereum Meetup Group is older than the Ethereum mainnet? The first-ever Copenhagen Ethereum Meetup happened on July 14th, 2015. To celebrate this milestone and nearly 10 years of mainnet, we have booked a great venue that will set the stage for an evening of excellent talks and even better company. The concrete agenda will be shared at a later point in time, but for now, make sure to mark the date in your calendars. We will start at 18:30 and do around two hours of talks/discussions, and afterwards we have the venue for the entire evening, so we hope you'll hang around with us for a couple of drinks and good conversations.

Friday Mar 10, 2023 is a very significant day in the history of Bankless, it marks the day we set sail into the realm of web3 fully. We are migrating off of a publishing platform (Substack) and self hosting a platform for equipping people along their Crypto Journey. As a top crypto media company with well over a quarter of a million subscribers, we are locking this down only to existing verified users prior to the launch.

The Ethereum Mainnet merged with the Beacon Chain proof-of-stake network on September 15, 2022. This marks the end of proof-of-work for Ethereum and a full transition to proof-of-stake. This historic upgrade is projected to reduce the Ethereum network's energy consumption by over 99% and sets the stage for future upgrades to further scale the Ethereum network. Holders of this POAP were there to witness the Ethereum Mainnet Merge with the rest of the community and signaled their support to the core developers of this enormous undertaking by sending roughly $10 of ETH to the Protocol DAO, directly funding protocol contributors. CLR.Fund is excited to announce that, with the support of the Ethereum Foundation, teamed up with ETHStaker to run a Quadratic Funding round with a 350,000 DAI matching pool, dedicated to funding open source public goods for the Ethereum staking ecosystem. This round marks a huge milestone for clr.fund, being by far the largest initial matching pool for a Quadratic Funding round run using clr.fund protocol, along with being a critical supporting step toward one of Ethereum’s largest milestones to date; the merge. This will also be CLR.Fund's first round to happen on L2 - the Staking Round will run on Arbitrum with contributions opening on May 6th.
