Python, a high-level programming language, was initially released February 20, 1991, by Guido van Rossum, Netherlands, It emphasizes code readability with its notable use of significant whitespace. Its standard library supports various programming paradigms, including procedural, object-oriented, and functional programming. Python 1.0 in 1994 introduced many core features. Python 2.0 in 2000 added list comprehensions and garbage collection. Ended with 2.7. Python 3.0 in 2008 was a major rewrite, not backward compatible, with changes like print function, Unicode support, and syntax alterations. Python was named after the British comedy group Monty Python. Philosophy of the Python language: By typing "import this" into a Python interpreter, you'll be presented with the "Zen of Python" by Tim Peters, which includes aphorisms such as "Beautiful is better than ugly" and "Simple is better than complex". It is widely used for a variety of applications, from web development to data analysis and artificial intelligence. Python is one of the most popular programming languages. Its popularity is due to the rise of data science, machine learning, and its role in academic and educational settings. Python's simplicity and versatility, combined with a strong community and extensive libraries, contribute to its widespread use and ongoing popularity across diverse fields. AWS car racing event @Bayer to learn and connect artificial intelligence enthusiasts. On June 21, 2023, Bayer will participate in an AWS-organized DeepRacer event. In 4 hours, teams will program small cars using machine learning algorithms to race in tracks and compete to win. From their website, it is a “cloud-based 3D racing simulator, fully autonomous 1/18th scale race car driven by reinforcement learning”. A fun way and excellent opportunity to get hands-on experience in machine learning. The main events will run in Berlin, São Paulo, and St. Louis, and many colleagues will participate remotely in the race from other cities not only in Germany, but also in Poland, Spain, and other countries. You can support the event with logistics or learn some machine learning and be a participant, or just be there to meet other AI / data scientists from other departments, since many colleagues from Marketing, R&D, IT, Product Supply, Controlling, Facility Management, and Site Security, are co-organizing or participating in this. Imagine how much you will learn. For more information about the AWS DeepRacer, see: https://aws.amazon.com/deepracer/

Rein ins Solo 🎹 Am 16. Beeindruckend. Und bewusst für diesen Abend gewählt. Die „Kreisleriana“ von Schumann. Eine Explosion an Stimmungsumschwüngen und Brüchen. 🎶🎵 Zwischen himmelhochjauchzend und zu Tode betrübt. Das Werk schlägt einen großen Bogen. Eine verbindende Linie, die es herauszuarbeiten gilt. Ein Kontrast zwischen beiden Werken. Ungewöhnlich. Gekonnt.
