On April 17, 2023, the Rocket Pool protocol launched its much-anticipated major event, Atlas, which marked a significant milestone in the development of the decentralized protocol. The launch event was marked by a celebratory atmosphere, with members of the Rocket Pool Discord community coming together to share their excitement and stories about the project. As the Atlas launch went live, members of the Discord community gathered virtually to participate in the festivities. There was a palpable sense of excitement in the air as Rocket Pool enthusiasts from all over the world joined in to celebrate the culmination of months of hard work and dedication.

Rocket Fuel, a daily youtube show and podcast that covers everything that happens in the Rocket Pool community, had its 100th episode on Monday, Dec 19th. To celebrate the episode Jonathan Mann sang a song for the show, waqwaqattack set up a raffle with 9 prizes, and this poap was delivered. To be eligible for this poap, holders had to enter the poap raffle using one of 6 poaps. Four poaps were previous Rocket Fuel poaps and two were sent to people in the Rocket Pool community. This poap was created by Sleety and was distributed by waqwaqattack

Last November, a heated disagreement among members of the Rocket Pool community created an atmosphere that was anything but conducive to discussion and analysis. Naturally, Marceau's famous BCOTD (Bullish Comment Of The Day), investment insights, and friendly small talk weren't making any appearances in chat - at least not until some prominent Rocket Poolers took it upon themselves to band together for one major mission: bring back their beloved "Marcy." On December 18th 2022 they succeeded – good old Marceau returned to his rightful place in #trading!

Rocket Pool launched on November 8, 2021 after several years of development and exhaustive audits. A year later, Rocket Pool is still the only open source, trustless, decentralized, open source, and permissionless staking platform available in the Ethereum ecosystem. Rocket Pool is widely regarded as the fractional staking platform that is most closely aligned with the core values of Ethereum and we're all looking forward to a successful future! The Ethereum Mainnet merged with the Beacon Chain proof-of-stake network on September 15, 2022. This marks the end of proof-of-work for Ethereum and a full transition to proof-of-stake. This historic upgrade is projected to reduce the Ethereum network's energy consumption by over 99% and sets the stage for future upgrades to further scale the Ethereum network. Holders of this POAP were there to witness the Ethereum Mainnet Merge with the rest of the community and signaled their support to the core developers of this enormous undertaking by sending roughly $10 of ETH to the Protocol DAO, directly funding protocol contributors.
