"Web 3.0 101: An introduction to the decentralized web" is an envisionment of Satori Events Melbourne to help educate and empower international students & immigrants in Australia. Ideation of the POAP by Anish Pradhan(Investingyoda)/ Head of Web3.0 Strategy @Satori Events Melbourne Pty. Ltd. Digital artwork of Beaw Clungratana. Meaning behind the art: It represents life as an international student/ immigrant in Australia. It's not always easy to live and study abroad as we have to create so many things and seeking for our own foundation independently. We take our house objects along with us whenever we move from one place to another, responsible for our finance, education and workload. It is chaos and a mess when you have to be responsible for these things at the same time whilst time doesn't wait for us and we have to move forward along with it through our own obstacles.
Telstra has a many different technical platforms to solve problems and often when piloting or trialing these platforms the focus shifts from solving business problems to solving for the platform. This results in creating products and solutions which address implementation details but do not address the business problems. PoCs, technology spikes and evaluations get lost in the security, networking, scaling and platform concerns, instead of the value provided by the technology to the business. Kasna has worked with many Australia technology companies to learn and innovate on the Google Cloud platform by focusing on the business challenges and solutions. We approach learning on GCP with clear solution outcomes which Telstra can apply to real-world use-cases in the Telco and customer domain. With a mix of hands-on learning and creative exploration, Kasna’s Innovation Days offer an opportunity for Telstra teams to think less about the platform and more about solutions. This proposal is for an Innovation Day with technology teams to exploring and developing Telco solutions on GCP. These sessions will focus on problems in Application Development, Edge computing and operating Machine Learning with customised activities and development.
