Hey Crawley Town Fam! Get ready to sprinkle some Christmas magic on the pitch because we're facing off against AFC Wimbledon! Born in 2002, AFC Wimbledon emerged from the hearts of former Wimbledon F.C. supporters, refusing to let their football journey wander too far. The original club relocated to Milton Keynes in 2003, breaking many hearts and traditions. AFC Wimbledon started in the Combined Counties League's Premier Division, the ninth tier, and what followed was nothing short of a Christmas miracle — six promotions in 13 seasons, climbing from the ninth tier to the third (League One). But the magic doesn't stop there. AFC Wimbledon holds the record for the longest unbeaten run in English senior football, going 78 consecutive league games undefeated between February 2003 and December 2004. Talk about a streak Santa would be proud of! They're also the first club formed in the 21st century to make it into the Football League. So, Crawley Town fans, . Let's make it a festive game to remember! Merry Christmas, thank you and COYR!

Hey Crawley Town fans! Guess who's stepping into the ring? Brace yourselves for the face-off against The Stags of Mansfield Town, a club with a football journey that's been rolling since 1897. Formed as Mansfield Wesleyans, they evolved into Mansfield Town in 1910 and joined the Football League in 1931. They climbed up the ranks, winning the Alliance in 1919–20, celebrating Midland League victories in '24, '25, and '29. They hit the Third Division in '60, then promoted in '62–'63, spending nine seasons until '72. Bagged Fourth Division title in '74–'75 and Third Division title in '76–'77, but faced two quick relegations. Recent highlights include Fourth Division promotion in '85–'86, a Football League Trophy win in '86–'87, and promotions in '91–'92, '01–'02, and a return to the Football League in '12–'13 after winning the Conference. Nicknamed 'The Stags,' they rock a blue and yellow kit, call Field Mill home since 1919 (now an all-seater stadium with a 9,186 capacity), and have intense rivalries with Chesterfield and local derbies against Notts County. Thank you and COYR!
