Una de estas líneas de trabajo se basa en la alianza firmada a mediados de 2023 con la Fundación Celo, una organización estadounidense sin ánimo de lucro que gestiona el desarrollo de la cadena de bloques Celo, un ecosistema de blockchain de código abierto centrado en hacer accesibles los sistemas y herramientas financieros descentralizados, carbono-negativa y mobile-first. Como parte de esta la colaboración, Telefónica se convierte en validador en la plataforma Celo, contribuyendo a la descentralización de la red. De este modo, Telefónica desempeñará un papel clave en la validación de las transacciones, garantizando el consenso de la red, ayudará a la estabilidad y manteniendo la seguridad de la cadena de bloques de Celo. En la sesión os contaremos qué significa en la práctica convertirse en validador de una red como Celo y cómo es este proceso desde el punto de vista operativo.
