As we move ever forward into the merging of Digital/Physical, the RΞNAISSANCΞ pairs Chicago Designers with Web3 artists to create a 1 to 1 Phygital Fashion Exhibition. The local creators will produce tokens that symbolize what is possible when we come together to push the limits of innovation in the windy city. 7 Designers have been paired with 7 web3 artists. The Designers sourced from Chicago Fashion Coalitions roster have each created a physical product. They collaborated with the web3 artist to produce a token that is a visual representation of the physical item. This partnership brings forward a 1/1 object that exists in the Digital & Physical realm. In supporting this first of its kind opportunity, 14 local designers & artists will be able to exhibit their work to a large audience at the imnotArt gallery. CEO and Co-Founder of imnotArt, Matt Schapiro will uncover just what NFTs are, outlining the technology and concepts driving the hot topic of NFTs, digital assets and digital collectables. This evening Tower Talk will also feature a preview of the New Digital: “Born in Chicago” local artist NFT Exhibition curated by imnotArt plus complimentary drinks and small bites.

Join imnotArt and Shekinah Apedo (AKA sh3k1n4h) for an educational event at the gallery on Monday, June 13th. Shekinah Apedo is a Miami native that has worked at the intersection of financial crime in cryptocurrency and law in Web3. She formerly represented Metaverse fashion brand, RTFKT Studios, on collabs with Atari, Jake Paul, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and Tik Tok, before their acquisition by Nike in 2021. These days, Shekinah is General Counsel for Deadfellaz, and continues to use her skill set to empower creatives in the Web3 ecosystem - helping them mitigate risks while staying compliant and growing their businesses.
