Epoch Zero is a one-time funding event, where Golem Foundation & Octant will be donating 1 million dollars to public goods projects: Clr.fund, DAO Drops, Drips, Ethereum Cat Herders, ETHStaker, Giveth, Gitcoin, Kernel, Protocol Guild, & Supermodular. DAOhaus was born at the ETHBerlin convention on August 25th, 2019. ETHBerlin was a hackathon with judges and prizes. The judges didn't like the DAOhaus presentation much— but the community sure did. It won the community award and a $2000 prize. That was enough to get the ball rolling. Since then the DAOhaus community has grown and evolved but one thing hasn't changed: DAOhaus provides free-to-use DAO tooling and an interface to the magnificent Moloch DAO contracts.
