The MHP Future Hack Winner Presents: AI Simulation along the Supply Chain
Many manufacturing companies will be familiar with one challenge: The manufacturing environment is digitalized in line with Industry 4.0, but how can data from mostly non-standardized data sources be interpreted? We explored this question with Siemens at the Future Factory Hack 2022 in Dubai. Based on a digital twin developed by us, the hackathon participants had to simulate a specific application, with Logyc, being the one with the most impressive solution. In a live broadcast from the USA, Logyc and we will present approaches that help to understand the cost, time and sustainability impacts of decisions â from an end-to-end perspective. Logyc offers an AI-powered simulation and modeling platform for this purpose, which has been successfully used in MHP projects to assess the resilience of value streams or supply chains and identify risk mitigation areas. Discover the AI potential in the supply chain. Engineering, Intelligent & Flexible Manufacturing, Supply-Chain Stage H | 04:45 - 05:05 pm | Impulse Session
The New Digital Continuity as an Opportunity - How Automotive Startups Are Implementing It
Digital continuity is becoming a decisive criterion for success â across all industries. Digital twins expand the spectrum and bring forth new potentials and challenges in equal measure â for example, in engineering, production planning, and the respective supporting systems. To enable 24/7, seamlessly integrated and bi-directional data connections, far-reaching scenarios are therefore necessary. Once these are established, innovative approaches such as closed-loop manufacturing, circular economy and shared mobility can also be implemented. We will show how advanced some startups in the automotive sector already are in these areas. Look forward to the new digital continuity.
