Many manufacturing companies will be familiar with one challenge: The manufacturing environment is digitalized in line with Industry 4.0, but how can data from mostly non-standardized data sources be interpreted? We explored this question with Siemens at the Future Factory Hack 2022 in Dubai. Based on a digital twin developed by us, the hackathon participants had to simulate a specific application, with Logyc, being the one with the most impressive solution. Co-creation connects groups with specific challenges. The methodology is based on users creating added value on an equal footing – for example a product or service. The great benefit of co-creation is that all the experts involved have their own experience, meaning they can learn from each other. This method is so much more than just a good solution.
