The HNFT Museum highlights the work of 25+ NFT communities from 2011 to 2019 and is a community based initiative curated by the CryptoSkulls DAO. It is our responsibility to not only tell our Skull story but to also create a platform that gives our friends in other historical NFT communities a voice. Series 2 Guest - CryptoPunks V1 POAP for HNFT Museum Launched in June of 2017 by Larva Labs (IP acquired by Yuga Labs in 2022) CryptoPunks is one of the first NFT collections on the Ethereum blockchain. It consists of 10,000 unique 24×24 pixel art images. There are currently two versions of the CryptoPunks contract. “V1” is the term used to describe the original smart contract released by LarvaLabs on June 9th, 2017, and “V2” is the term used to describe the follow-up (or replacement) smart contract released by LarvaLabs on June 23, 2017, with Punks airdropped to the original V1 claimants. V2 are the “Official” CryptoPunks as recognized by Larva Labs - and later by Yuga Labs - and are the only Punks that currently retain any IP or other rights granted by Yuga Labs. This poap celebrates history of Cryptopunks story in history of nfts.

Series 2 Guest - PridePunks POAP for HNFT Museum Pride Punks is a collection of 10,000 punk NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain, created by @DennisonBertram. Pride Punks were originally created as a celebration of CryptoPunks, Pride month, and a statement on the lack of inclusivity in web3. The original Pride Punk smart contract was created on June 23, 2018. It required that CryptoPunk holders wrap their NFT in the contract to mint a Pride Punk, but only two were minted. After digging up the contracts and building a secure wrapper that no longer requires holders to lock up their NFTs, Pride Punks relaunched in March of 2022 using the original MetaPunk smart contract from 2018. Pride Punks is not affiliated with Larva Labs. It is an entirely separate and unrelated derivative art project. This poap celebrates history of Pridepunks story in history of nfts.
HNFT Museum - Historical NFT Series #1 - Punycodes Punycodes - May 10, 2011 [Namecoin] @Punycodes2011 HNFT Museum is a proud collaborator and partner with Punycodes and interviewing the first series on 23/01/2023 with Punycodes to explore and capture their history and story within the NFT historical timeline. Punycodes ("Punys") are considered by many to be the first art NFTs. They are a community curated collection of texts, symbols, emojis, and ASCII art minted as on-chain domain names on the Namecoin blockchain starting in 2011. Punycodes illustrate the innate human desire to leverage blockchain technologies to create and own pieces of art. All Punycodes are represented by their distinguishing "xn--" prefix. They employ special encoding to convert Unicode characters to ASCII, a subset style representation that requires a decoder to see the contained art. There is also a separate Punycodes collection found on the Emercoin blockchain (a fork of Namecoin blockchain) with a similar technical and artistic pattern of Namecoin Punycodes. The Twitter rediscovery happened in mid January 2022 and these assets were quickly claimed in a fair manner. [6] This has ensured a healthy holder distribution for Punycodes and resulted in a significant number of collectors holding them. Punycodes DAO expresses its respect for artists and creators, and wants to recognize original Punycodes creators for the true pioneers they are.
