This POAP commemorates Linera’s Testnet Babbage launch—the second major milestone in our testnet rollout. Building on the success of Archimedes, Babbage introduces powerful upgrades including a trustless web client, configurable PoW microchains, and Ethereum-compatible signatures, pushing Linera closer to its vision of real-time, user-centric blockchain infrastructure. During our April 17th AMA, Linera founder Mathieu Baudet was joined by key validator partners to discuss the technical advances in SDK v0.14, the role of AI-integrated oracles, and our evolving roadmap. This POAP commemorates the Linera Team Offsite held in Reykjavík, Iceland, from December 9th to the 13th, 2024. The design, inspired by the traditional Icelandic sweater knit, was crafted by our in-house Head of Content & Social, Wilton Gorske. It features Linera’s beacon logo, incorporates the local IATA airport code alongside the year, and pays homage to Iceland’s rich cultural heritage. This offsite brought the team together at the Canopy Hotel to strategize, innovate, and connect as we continue to shape the future of Web3.
