After many years of progress and a lengthy approval process, Spot Ethereum Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) opened for trading on July 23, 2024. The SEC approved eight ETFs, including the Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust (ETH), Franklin Ethereum ETF (EZET), VanEck Ethereum ETF (ETHV), Bitwise Ethereum ETF (ETHW), 21Shares Core Ethereum ETF (CETH), Fidelity Ethereum Fund (FETH), BlackRock's (BLK) iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) and the Invesco Galaxy Ethereum ETF (QETH). Funds raised from this POAP will go to Aestus. The Aestus MEV-Boost Relay is a neutral, non-censoring relay, which emerged from conversations between members of the EthFinance and EthStaker communities who see the need to develop credibly neutral architecture for the Ethereum staking ecosystem. With the ETH price showing signs of stagnation below $4,000, the Rocket Pool community collaborates with Ramana to organize a collective buying initiative for the RPL token. From March 8 to 9, 2024, Ramana matches 20% of RPL purchases submitted to his thread. He diligently tracks and records each transaction on his personal website. Participants who joined the purchasing event and posted their transactions during this timeframe were eligible to receive a POAP.

Morale was notably subdued in the Rocket Pool Discord as the RPL/ETH ratio plummeted to a mere 0.00925. However, optimism started to emerge as RPL holders gained confidence in the forthcoming developments, particularly bolstered by Valdorff's recently unveiled tokenomics vision. Confident node operators rallied together to underscore their faith in the protocol. This POAP was bestowed upon RPL node operators who actively engaged in the call to action and staked RPL between February 22 and February 27, 2024.

This output will be used in Proto-Danksharding, aka EIP 4844: an Ethereum scaling mechanism which will hopefully enable lower Layer 2 fees and greater global accessibility. EIP-4844 is expected to go live with the Dencun network upgrade in the near future.
