The world of cryptocurrencies is at a verge of either being widely accepted or regulated to the extend breaking innovation by creating barriers to entry which the traditional financial industry can afford to comply with but which also prevent small players and bottom up projects to even bootstrap. Luckily we don't need mainstream acceptance anymore since we created a self-sufficient global economy already.
