This POAP doesn't recognize the original recipients, rather, it recognizes those who held the NFT after the deployment was completed. Holders of this POAP were online with EthStaker during the Kiln testnet merge. The Kiln testnet is the first public testnet for the merge that will combine the Execution Layer from the existing Proof of Work chain with the Consensus Layer from the new beacon chain. The result will be a new chain (forged in the kiln) with a new Proof of Stake Consensus Layer and a powerful EVM Execution engine. This call occurred around 10am Eastern time on March 15, 2022, a day earlier than anticipated after GPU miners accelerated the PoW chain toward the merge.
