Bill Whirity and Matthew Lillard are no strangers to the film industry. Bill is a writer-director from Chicago who attended film school at Columbia College and has directed a number of short films. Matthew has acted in over 50 films and TV shows including Scream, Scooby-Doo, Hackers, Sheās All That, and more.Ā Now, both of these passionate film-industry professionals are teaming up to create the first decentralized movie studio called "Midnight Movie Club". With a focus on genres like Horror, Sci-Fi, Action/Adventure, and Fantasy, Matthew and Bill turn their NFT holders from passive viewers into active participants in the creation of feature-length films. Jeremy Fisher is an artist, director, animator, and fabricator with over 8 years of experience in the entertainment industry and numerous creative projects. Jeremy has worked with brands such as Robot Chicken, Hallmark, Food Network, and several other notable companies. Before discovering NFTs, Jeremy had been working with Hallmark creating their animated greeting cards. However, Hallmark ended up firing the entire crew right before Covid begin to run itsā course.Ā This experience as Jeremy stated was āalmost like a precursor to NFTsā. Ultimately, this series of events actually set up Jeremy to build his own production team and eventually NFT project. His love for the Cool Cats NFT project led him to create clay sculptures which were animated claymations of Cool Cats that Jeremy called Clay Cats. After creating a few Clay Cats, Jeremy started to experiment with his own NFT project, the Lucky Duck NFT collection. The Lucky Ducky NFT project is a collection of 7,777 unique and programmatically generated mischievous Duckies NFTs that are set to drop towards the end of February.
