The “Wouldn’t You Go to Prison to Help End This War?” NFT was auctioned, with proceeds going to the Freedom of the Press Foundation and The Ellsberg Initiative for Peace and Democracy. Questions were asked, whistles were blown, funds were raised.

On November 22nd, 2021, Pace Gallery will launch its very first dedicated NFT platform featuring a second suite of NFTs from Lucas Samaras’s XYZ Chinoiserie series. Like Samaras’s digital works presented by the gallery earlier this year, these NFTs will be accompanied by a corresponding 11 x 17-inch physical framed print. Each framed print will feature a QR code that links to stream of consciousness texts written by the artist.
