The address which minted this POAP participated in the KZG Summoning Ceremony: a publicly coordinated ritual to produce a random output. This output will be used in Proto-Danksharding, aka EIP 4844: an Ethereum scaling mechanism which will hopefully enable lower Layer 2 fees and greater global accessibility. EIP-4844 is expected to go live with the Dencun network upgrade in the near future. As of the time of writing, this ceremony was the largest setup of this kind when considering the number of contributions.

On April 18 Rocket Pool deployed their Atlas upgrade, this upgrade provides support for withdrawals from the beacon chain and 8 Ether mini pools. This is a huge milestone in the success of Rocket Pool!

A workshop during the Buidl Week in Denver to explore the Proteus project from Joe Clapis and the Rocket Pool Smartnode. Proteus is a low-cost/low-energy/3d printed staking machine, perfect for running an Ethereum node. Online attendees will have the opportunity to see how easy it is to stake from home using Rocket Pool's open-source Smartnode stack, send questions and possibly win a prize!
