What defines a lesbian bar? A place that prioritizes the creation of safe space for marginalized genders; women, non-binary folks, and trans men. In queer culture your bar becomes your family. A place to hang with your friends, meet the love of your life, or maybe just someone for the night. A place to share history and to create history. In 1980 there were 200 lesbian bars in the United States. Today there are fewer than 25. That’s why this October, The Lesbian Bar Project and longtime supporter, Jägermeister, are bringing you the LBP Metaverse pop up: An educational and interactive bar experience in Decentraland showcasing archival and historic images of lesbian bars from the Library of Congress.

Løyd is a Brussels-based producer known for his raw, conceptual, and divergent electronic music. Through his art and music, he presents an inconvenient reflection on today's society. Following the pandemic, most of the scheduled tour dates were pushed back - except for a show in the iconic Brussels venue Ancienne Belgique on the 26th of November 2021. SWEdnesdays with Mr.SWE!! Born in Brindisi, Italy, Francesco aka Mr. Swe developed a love for music at a very young age. His journey began while listening to his father's vinyl, cassettes, and cds. At the age of 12, Francesco got closer to the DJ world through friends of his parents–they helped him step up and put the first vinyl down of the night at a party. From there, his passion for music grew. His first interests in music were primarily in reggae, but soon after his love for hip-hop culture grew. Francesco later started MCing in dancehalls and underground parties with various artists and collectives such as, "Dancehall Terrorists Crew.” Around the same time, Francesco started to produce music from his small garage-based studio. His love for Hip-hop, dub, and experimental music, became the main production focus. Mr. Swe fuses his sound through different software and hardware, while maintaining a love for the world of sampling and experimental synths that hit the left-field bracket of imagination.
