The Rocket Pool Houston release delivered Protocol DAO on-chain voting. Shortly, the Protocol DAO will be able to vote on Snapshot for meta governance and vote on-chain to make protocol changes. Before Rocket Pool can enable Protocol DAO voting, node operators need to initialize their voting power in the new system and update their signaling address that is used to vote on Snapshot. Node operators that initialized their voting power by July 15 received a POAP.

For those who have come to Rocket Pool University to gain knowledge of the Rocket Pool protocol. This POAP is for attending the Basics of Rocket Pool course. You should now have an introductory understanding of how RP improves on Ethereum's Proof of Stake and you can feel confident in your ability to pursue starting up your own RP node and minipool.

This POAP will be issued to anyone who was operating their own Ethereum staking node, either as a solo staker or as a Rocket Pool node operator, as of the time of the merge. The first use of this POAP will be to vote on an art style for a non-transferrable NFT which will be issued to node operators.
