This current 6-piece incarnation is just the tip of a 40 strong musical collective of master musicians, gathered by band leader Oshan Mahony from remote Turkish villages, Indian Chai shops and Hackney warehouse parties. Exploring the musics of the Middle East, they mix (amongst others) the Klesmer of the Askenazi Jews, with Turkish Arabs songs and the Balkan sounds of the Romi gypsies.
