Metaverse Festival - RAC - Evolution Stage RAC RAC used to stand for "Remix Artist Collective". These days it's the solo project of André Allen Anjos. RAC is primarily known for remixes (200+). It started with an ambitious goal to change the way things were remixed. Taking the focus away from danceability and attempting different and interesting arrangements. Some notable examples include: Lady Ga Ga, Bob Marley, Ella Fitzgerald, Kings Of Leon, Katy Perry, The Shins, Bloc Party, Chromeo, Lana Del Rey, Two Door Cinema Club and many many more. RAC has been featured in ads for numerous corporations, including: Apple, Facebook, Google, Citibank, GoDaddy, Hulu, Uber, Delta, Shopstyle, etc. In 2014, André released an album on Cherrytree / Interscope Records called "Strangers". In 2016, André was nominated for a GRAMMY in the category of Best Remixed Recording. In 2017, André won the GRAMMY award in the category of Best Remixed Recording. In 2017, André released an album on Counter / Ninja Tune Records called "EGO". It includes the singles "This Song" ft. Rostam, "I Still Wanna Know" ft. Rivers Cuomo & "Unusual" ft. MNDR. Soundr presents Benji Patterson - Evolution Stage BENJI PATTERSON Benji Patterson is a young American rapper, singer, poet and songwriter who grew up immersed in the music industry, he watched his father record, mix and distribute his own music, something he is now doing for himself. His father toured extensively with artists such as Whitney Houston, Michael Bolton and Peter White and from a young age Benji was surrounded by soul, jazz and RnB, music that touches the spirit and defined his approach to writing and recording today. Since leaving school Benji has released numerous singles and music videos, each time gaining more success and reaching a wider audience. Benji's latest single "The Unknown", is about the highs and lows that he has experienced over the past few years. From dropping out of college to make music, growing a following during a global pandemic to losing a close friend in 2020. Meanwhile learning to overcome the everyday fears and uncertainties that he calls The Unknown. The single achieved over 4000 per-saves ahead of its release. To pursue music and follow his dream Benji works whatever jobs are necessary to earn enough to fund his music projects, “I’m excited to continue to work hard, develop as an artist and inspire others along the way”. MakersPlace and Decentraland will debut David Bianchi’s Break The Bars in the first red carpet film premiere ever held in the metaverse. Alongside poet Chris Wood, Bianchi introduces his third Spinema™ film on the blockchain: A raw and passionate exploration of the lives of inner city youth living behind barred windows and fenced concrete communities. On September 23, MakersPlace’s gallery in Decentraland will be fully converted to a screening room to host the premiere. Visitors will walk a virtual red carpet leading to the entrance, complete with a step-and-repeat that provides images of their avatars as POAPs (Proof Of Attendance Protocol tokens) distributed through their personal ETH wallets. Anyone in attendance of the virtual gathering will automatically be included in a drawing to receive a limited edition NFT from the drop. A number of NFTs will also be gifted through a Twitter giveaway for the best dressed red carpet Avatar pic: To enter, community members must post a picture of their avatar on the red carpet with the #BreakingTheBarsRedCarpet, tagging @makersplaceco and @davidbianchi. The event will begin at 5 PM PT with an open Q+ A between David Bianchi, MakersPlace and attendees, which will be hosted on Discord and live-streamed into the Decentraland screening room. Break the Bars and a special director's commentary will premiere immediately following the conclusion of the Q+A, and will be available for repeat viewings thereafter.
