A play-to-earn game called Sunflower Farmers launched on polygon with no anti-bot features, effectively allowing a DDOS attack on the polygon network. This caused gas to spike to insane GWEI levels for polygon. We made it through to the other side though, and only a few gotchis missed their pets.
