In Professor Hansen's book: "The Year 1000: When Explorers Connected the World - and Globalization Began" "As Peoples living in different regions established contact with each other around the year 1000, they set the stage for the next phase of globalization in the 1500s" Today,  the decentralization is empowering individuals and local communities, generating new opportunities, enabling new connections across borders. New forms of globalization are taking place.  1000 represents a new beginning, with diversity, inclusiveness, equity.  Let's commemorate and celebrate this moment,  Let's make this world a much better place.
