thirdweb is one of the most renowned blockchain projects out there. They provide developer tools to build, manage and analyze web3 apps, with open-source, decentralized, and permissionless tooling. Developers can easily use thirdweb to quickly deploy smart contracts with their pre-built and audited smart contracts. Their tools allow even non-coders to create multiple smart contracts and easily manage them through their dashboard. thirdweb also provides SDK for any type of smart contract to enable developers to create web3 apps from the deployed smart contracts quickly. thirdweb has democratized web3 technologies to a new height. Jake Loo is the CTO of thirdweb and founding engineer for Founders Inc. He was part of the Twitch team as a software engineer before. Lucky for us to have him as our guest! For aspiring web3 developers! This is your chance to learn more about how to utilize the power of blockchain technology starting with thirdweb!
After 2 years since the last Devcon in Japan, Ethereum's flagship annual event is finally back in Bogotá! Akin to a global family reunion, Devcon is a conference for builders of all kinds: developers, designers, researchers, client implementers, test engineers, infrastructure operators, community organizers, social economists, artists, and more. Not everyone will have the opportunity to fly 19,000 Kilometers all the way to Bogotá, and that's why we are bringing Devcon to Malaysia as part of Devcon Satellites! We will be having our community members to share their experience as Devcon attendees and also as an Ethereum Foundation's scholar! We then will go through together on curated topics highlighted during Devcon to keep us up to date with Ethereum's latest development.
We continue our IRL meetups in September with a guest who's been calling KL home for the past year! Samrat will walk us through the innovation in secure multiparty coordination that is the Baseline Protocol. Many multi-party workflows still rely on manual point-to-point interactions, which are prone to inconsistencies and broken agreements racking up costly reconciliation and repudiation efforts to resolve. Companies would like to share their data, but know that keeping data localized is a more sound investment as compliance requirements often make data sharing undesirable. Zero Knowledge technology allows all parties in a networked business process to maintain their own systems-of-record in a verified state of consistency. As before, we are organising this meetup with the help of AWS Malaysia, who have kindly sponsored their office as its venue. Since space is limited, please RSVP only if you are sure you can make it to the event.
Thank you for being here today!! We hope to see you again at one of our forthcoming events, and we hope that you will remember this event fondly with this POAP. https://linktr.ee/apublockchaincryptoclub
This month, it will be all about the upcoming Merge. The merge of Ethereum's consensus & execution layers and change of consensus mechanism has been planned from the start of the protocol. With the last testnet, Goerli, planned to undergo its Merge in August and mainnet planned for September, we are super close to getting there. We will be conducting a round table to learn important concepts about post-Merge Ethereum as well as a hands-on workshop on running your own node. The meetup will be participatory! Everyone is welcome to share their insights in the round table (please make sure it's based on knowledge not BS) and should bring their laptops if they'd like to try running a node. Local legend (sorry for these hype-ish words ser) Caleb will be leading the workshop.
