After many years of progress and a lengthy approval process, Spot Ethereum Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) opened for trading on July 23, 2024. The SEC approved eight ETFs, including the Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust (ETH), Franklin Ethereum ETF (EZET), VanEck Ethereum ETF (ETHV), Bitwise Ethereum ETF (ETHW), 21Shares Core Ethereum ETF (CETH), Fidelity Ethereum Fund (FETH), BlackRock's (BLK) iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) and the Invesco Galaxy Ethereum ETF (QETH). Funds raised from this POAP will go to Aestus. The Aestus MEV-Boost Relay is a neutral, non-censoring relay, which emerged from conversations between members of the EthFinance and EthStaker communities who see the need to develop credibly neutral architecture for the Ethereum staking ecosystem. This POAP is meant to commemorate The Merge on the Ethereum protocol. We, the fine people of r/ethfinance, have been counting down the days to this historical event. Literally. Everyday u/Moschus11 has been posting a countdown to the estimated merge date and the fellow subredditors have been upvoting, downvoting, correcting, criticising, reviewing, validating his best guess. As a small token of appreciation to our little corner of the internet he would like to hand out this POAP to remember The Merge, but more so the countdown itself.
