On March 26, 2025, at Epoch 2048, the Hoodi Testnet upgraded to the Pectra fork. If the upgrade is successful it will lend a strong signal that mainnet is ready for the Pectra upgrade.

In March 2022, Joe Clapis from the Rocket Pool team began work on a Terminal User Interface that provided support for easy client switching during runtime using the graphical interface. While this Terminal UI is still regarded as an alpha product, the value to the community is extremely high as it allows Rocket Pool node operators to continuously contribute to client diversity and help to ensure good client balance on the network. This POAP serves to commemorate this great effort towards decentralisation and to appreciate how Rocket Pool has consistently acted as a public good on the beacon chain. As Rocket Pool launches to a new beginning with RP v2, the community takes a trip down memory lane. On August 5, a shaky market led to super low prices for the RPL (Rocket Pool) token. As the token dipped below $10, community members shared the state of their portfolios. This POAP was given to members who participated in and witnessed this catastrophic market event.

On March 13, 2024, the Dencun hard fork occurred. The bustling #trading community within the Rocket Pool Discord diligently monitored their nodes to ensure everything remained stable during the fork. Numerous users shared their Ethereum logs, as the massive blob ASCII printed to their command lines. This upgrade, being dubbed the smoothest hard fork ever, transformed what could have been a daunting process into a seamless transition. As a token of recognition, the Rocket Pool community actively engaging in the #trading channel during the Dencun fork were awarded a POAP.

The first Hodlercon, Hawaii 2022, grew out of a need for hope in the depths of the 2019/2020 bear market. A cadre of redditors in r/ethfinance swore they’d meet on the beaches of Hawaii if ETH’s price recovered to its previous all time high. It did, all the way to $4,850, and the following June a bunch of awesome people from around the world had a blast singing karaoke despite ETH’s price simultaneously tanking below $1,000 for the last* time.
