On October 23rd, 2025, President Donald Trump pardoned convicted founder of Binance Changpeng Zhao. Janet Yellen, former Treasury Secretary said of CZ and Binance, "Binance turned a blind eye to its legal obligations in the pursuit of profit… Its willful failures allowed money to flow to terrorists, cybercriminals, and child abusers through its platform." When CZ stepped down from Binance, he stated, "I made mistakes, and I must take responsibility.” He paid a $50million dollar fine and spent four months in prison, though he was allowed to keep his stake in Binance.

Celebrate History in the making with the EVMavericks as they get OpenSea blue check mark verified! This was thanks to IcoBeast.eth winning a bet with Clemente @Chilearmy123 where Clemente said he would "get a tattoo on his ass of IcoBeast's pfp if ETH broke a new ATH this year (2025)" In which it certainly did just a few months later. The bet took off on social media which lead to Opensea posting a tweet about it which inevitably lead them to verify the EVMavericks collection. Many OG EVMavericks know the struggle it was to go through the Opensea process to get blue check mark verified in the past and so becoming verified through a random bet online with an ass tattoo is very bittersweet! The address which minted this POAP participated in the KZG Summoning Ceremony: a publicly coordinated ritual to produce a random output. This output will be used in Proto-Danksharding, aka EIP 4844: an Ethereum scaling mechanism which will hopefully enable lower Layer 2 fees and greater global accessibility. EIP-4844 is expected to go live with the Dencun network upgrade in the near future. As of the time of writing, this ceremony was the largest setup of this kind when considering the number of contributions.
