Sergiu Nichitean is a passionate software engineer and co-founder at Solemna. He will talk about NFTs on the Solana blockchain, starting from what makes Solana arguably the best NFT ecosystem to the latest innovations, such as compressed NFTs and executable NFTs. Following this, Carmen, Product Manager for a DeFi enthusiast tech startup, will introduce us to Decentralized Finance - a financial landscape revolution: the fundamental principles and its transformative power that challenge the current centralized banking system. Following last year's editions, we’re glad to see genuine interest and passion for web3 and decentralized communities. This year we start a new season, hoping to bring Web3 closer to the people of Timisoara, by hosting a flagship event on March 2nd, at Faber. Our goal is the same as last time, to empower people to own their content and use it in various virtual worlds and decentralized apps. For this flagship event, we’re honored to have Sebastien Borget - COO & co-founder @ Sandbox, and Marius Baisan - CTO @ Softbinator. Seb is a pioneer in the web3 space, COO & co-founder of The Sandbox, and president of The Blockchain Game Alliance. He will talk about building the open metaverse, empowering creators, and enabling players to take control of their digital lives through blockchain technology. Following this, Marius, a tech-savvy CTO and always eager to try and promote new technologies will talk about blockchain, from a tech perspective, starting from zero and ending with zero (zero-knowledge proofs).
