In the afternoon of January 9th of 2024, the SEC thought we weren't having enough fun so they tendered us an unbelievable series of events that made life feel like science fiction. Sergito.eth paged Arsonic.eth in the cryptopunks Telegram to make a POAP to celebrate and here we are :) This POAP will be an open edition available to mint for a couple days, and one lucky collector will be awarded a Sgt Pepe masterpiece, created by Arsonic in Late 2022.

This POAP, designed once again by the talented Chris Wahl, celebrates the 2-year anniversary of Pixel Vault and their pioneering NFT drop, PUNKS Comic #1: The Hunt for the Lost Robbies. We've continued to expand our captivating storytelling with PUNKS Comic and Inhabitants Universe, and built amazing tech within the NFT space. Time may have flown, but our resolve to craft immersive narratives and develop tech innovations within the space remains true. This commemorates the APEDAO and its members. Started by @kyloren_nft when he fractionalized 49 Bored Apes and a female CryptoPunk into 1,000,000 $APED tokens on Niftex on 3rd June 2021 at a 140ETH valuation. The DAO went on to acquire another 32 Bored Apes and many other valuable NFTs. On February 3rd 2022, the DAO voted to liquidate its assets and did so over the next several weeks. By the time liquidation completed, the total value of all assets held by the DAO was over 12,000 ETH.
