In our third week, we boldly continued studying the CID concept, gaining booklike knowledge about Content Addressing. We shared some of the visualizations we created to represent addressing by content (instead of just location!). We talked about hash functions, and the power of redundancy and trust. As a group, we really agreed we were ready to go on and learn about the Merkle DAGs.
HackFS 2022 Staked Hacker
2022-08-02
This POAP confirms that you were a hacker at ETHGlobal's HackFS hackathon on between July 8-27th, 2022. HackFS united over 1000 people passionate individuals virtually over the month of July to build the foundation for the decentralized web.
We began our cycle of read, meet, learn, repeat and encountered the concept of Content Addressing using IPFS hashing. Does everyone know what a CID is? We agreed to stay in this chapter topic for another week, with people agreeing to make visualizations.
People from across the world got together and shared our knowledge. 1. We did voting about how we should do this 2. Everybody introduced themselves 3. Quick and fun!
