Devcon is the Ethereum conference for developers, thinkers, and makers. Devcon's mission is to bring decentralized protocols, tools, and culture to the people and make Ethereum more accessible around the world. Devcon is a four-day event, all in one big venue. You'll meet everyone in that one place. Devcon Week will span the entire week of November 9-17, with events before and after Devcon, organized by the local and global Ethereum community.
On 8-9 November 2024, the 11th Funding the Commons conference took place at Gaysorn Tower, in RISE & SeaX offices. We explored public goods funding, digital innovation, and, for the second time in 2024, partnered with Earth Commons to spotlight environmental stewardship, regenerative agriculture, biodiversity, and decentralized science. Our program focused on: - Innovation in digital public goods and open web funding, with a focus on impact evaluation and related challenges. - Local and regional commons approaches in Southeast Asia. - Stewardship and preservation of natural resources, bridging the commons conversation with decentralized science. We also showcased track outcomes from the Chiang Mai Builder Residency, and Funding the Commons x Earth Commons Hackathon.
