The address which minted this POAP participated in the KZG Summoning Ceremony: a publicly coordinated ritual to produce a random output. This output will be used in Proto-Danksharding, aka EIP 4844: an Ethereum scaling mechanism which will hopefully enable lower Layer 2 fees and greater global accessibility. EIP-4844 is expected to go live with the Dencun network upgrade in the near future. As of the time of writing, this ceremony was the largest setup of this kind when considering the number of contributions.

This POAP commemorates the addresses who voted in Round 1 of DAO Drops. These users made their voices heard, and helped determined how $250,000 DAI was distributed across dozens of deserving projects and individuals. DAO Drops is a retroactive public goods funding mechanism that directly empowers Ethereum users. In Round 1, over 40,000 addresses received voting power based on past on-chain actions such as voting in DAOs, attending Ethereum ecosystem events, and deploying smart contracts to mainnet. This POAP can be minted to the subset of those addresses who actually voted in Round 1.
