What defines a lesbian bar? A place that prioritizes the creation of safe space for marginalized genders; women, non-binary folks, and trans men. In queer culture your bar becomes your family. A place to hang with your friends, meet the love of your life, or maybe just someone for the night. A place to share history and to create history. In 1980 there were 200 lesbian bars in the United States. Today there are fewer than 25. That’s why this October, The Lesbian Bar Project and longtime supporter, Jägermeister, are bringing you the LBP Metaverse pop up: An educational and interactive bar experience in Decentraland showcasing archival and historic images of lesbian bars from the Library of Congress.

In Decentraland, There Are No Strangers. The same goes if you’re drinking Cuervo—whether online or IRL. As the first-ever tequila meta-distillery, we’ve built a world where socializing is the norm. Our interactive distillery experience is designed with exploration and friendship in mind. So go out into the world, (the web3 world, that is) have fun, meet folks, and virtually drink responsibly. This is your ticket. You were there.
