Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America. Since 2020, pickleball’s player base has increased by nearly 40%, with the lionshare of that growth coming amongst younger players. While the game started as a humble lawn game and is named after some guy’s dog, it’s now a nascent phenomenon with famous fans such as Leonardo DiCaprio and Michael Phelps. As such, it’s never been a bigger deal to be a big-deal pickleball player. For proof, just look at Major League Pickleball, the upstart league that’s quickly becoming the most premier showcase for pickleball’s best players. Thank you for tuning in as we chat with Brooks Wiley, Eric Ho, Zane Navratilova, Thomas Shields, Kyle Yates, Rob Nunnery, Irinia, Ryan Harwood and Tyler Schmitt about the game’s recent explosion and what MLP’s future holds.
