MNblockchain's first POAP, created by Erik Halaas of staynftympls, commemorates their Spring 2023 event. Held on Wednesday evening May 31, it features topics in finance and blockchain such as; financial planning, Bitcoin mining, US dollar technology, and loyalty programs. This POAP was given to all attendees of Minnebar 17. First held in 2006, Minnebar is the nation's largest and longest-running technology unconference. Like other unconferences (or BarCamps), Minnebar is a user-generated conference that is participant-led. There are no keynote speakers or formal workshops, and all sessions are led by people from the tech and business communities. Minnebar 17 was held at Best Buy's Corporate Headquarters on Saturday, April 22nd 2023. This POAP was distributed directly via claim code when attendees checked in for the event.
