NFTs have been in the news recently, though mostly focusing on a few that have eye-wateringly-high prices. Not sure what this new acronym is all about, or why there's been such a feeding frenzy to get them? No worries! NFTs are a wide-ranging collection of things that are all very unique. Stop on by this presentation and let Brooks Boyd cast some light on the situation! As a developer who's been working in the cryptocurrency space for several years, he'll be covering a high-level explanation of what NFTs are at a fundamental level, as well as showing what different groups are using them for, and laying out the value proposition for different sorts of users. This is a beginner to intermediate presentation, and there will be plenty of time and experts on-hand for questions after the presentation, if you have further questions about NFTs or cryptocurrencies in general.
