This POAP celebrates the pioneering participants who minted the first ever PGN NFT on Zora in July 2023, marking the launch of PGN's mainnet. This foundational NFT, symbolizes the commitment of our community to foster and finance initiatives that support public goods. Eligibility for this POAP is exclusively granted to those who engaged directly in the minting of this inaugural NFTs, directly contributing to the kickoff of PGN. This digital token serves not only as a token of appreciation but as a lasting memento of the role our community played in the early stages of a network designed to support and sustain public goods projects across the globe. By owning this POAP, participants hold a piece of history—a reminder of their active role in a movement set to reshape how public goods are funded and managed, ensuring better futures through innovative blockchain technology.

Holders of this POAP celebrated Ethereum Mainnet's upgrade to Dencun. This eagerly anticipated upgrade is projected to reduce gas fees for Layer 2 networks, unlocking greater scaling for the Ethereum ecosystem. The address which minted this POAP participated in the KZG Summoning Ceremony: a publicly coordinated ritual to produce a random output. This output will be used in Proto-Danksharding, aka EIP 4844: an Ethereum scaling mechanism which will hopefully enable lower Layer 2 fees and greater global accessibility. EIP-4844 is expected to go live with the Dencun network upgrade in the near future. As of the time of writing, this ceremony was the largest setup of this kind when considering the number of contributions.
