Q3 has been quite the wild beast to tame (not surprising for 2020)! We had yield farming and extremely high gas prices. It was trying times for the Dai peg as it fluctuated between $1 and $1.04 and MKR went about it between $448 and $860. MKR holders decided not to compensate vault holders from the ‘Black Thursday’ event in an extremely controversial vote on September 22nd. Some great people moved to other projects: big shoutout to Mariano Conti, Cyrus Younessi, and Rich Brown. Thanks for all your contributions and we hope to see you around. Yet despite the many rough edges, our community came together and managed to polish most of them gracefully. More great people joined us! We continued our path to decentralization with new domain facilitators and contributors. We made huge steps towards implementing Real-World Assets. Our Forum got an upgrade with NFT badges to recognize Governance participation. We launched Collateral Onboarding Calls, G&R call Snippets, the Maker Relay Newsletter, Liquidations 1.2, and a whole bunch of MIPs that probably merit an NFT on their own.
