On March 13, 2024, the Dencun hard fork occurred. The bustling #trading community within the Rocket Pool Discord diligently monitored their nodes to ensure everything remained stable during the fork. Numerous users shared their Ethereum logs, as the massive blob ASCII printed to their command lines. This upgrade, being dubbed the smoothest hard fork ever, transformed what could have been a daunting process into a seamless transition. As a token of recognition, the Rocket Pool community actively engaging in the #trading channel during the Dencun fork were awarded a POAP.

The user 'rpl-benefactor' returned to Rocket Pool's Discord #trading channel on December 1st, 2023 to announce that they had 535 RPL (worth >$15,000) to distribute to the community over the coming days. Funds were donated by: Waq donated $3000, with the caveat that the whole community must rally to reach $10,000 in total donations. Once that amount was reached, the RPL Benefactor would distribute the equivalent value in RPL to members of the community. 62 Community members bought the POAP priced at 0.05 ETH. https://poap.gallery/event/159708 In addition to Waq and POAP buyers, the final amount also included generous donations from Thomasg and an Anon whale. On Dec 1st, 2023, Waq hosted his 300th episode of Rocket Fuel - his daily news show about the Rocket Pool community and protocol. In celebration, Waq donated $3000 to the RPL Benefactor, a member of the Rocket Pool community known for distributing RPL to community members. Waq donated the money with the caveat that the whole community must rally to reach $10,000 in total donations. Once that amount was reached, the RPL Benefactor would distribute the RPL to members of the community. However, if that amount was not reached by Dec 1st, the RPL/eth/whatever would be sent back to donors. This POAP was part of the fundraising drive to reach the $10,000 target. This POAP was sold using POAP checkout with the aim of reaching $10,000. The people who bought the POAP donated $100 (the cost of the POAP) to the RPL Benefactor for them to distribute to the RP community. In donating their money, they became the RPL Benefactor This POAP was created by Shfryn, and it was distributed by Waq through POAP checkout.

To commemorate the launch of Rocketpool Atlas on 4/18/23. Atlas allows minipools with only 8 ETH/minipool provided by the node operator. This allows more overall minipools to accomodate a larger quantity of rETH hodlers. Design by RPLgrime.

On April 18 Rocket Pool deployed their Atlas upgrade, this upgrade provides support for withdrawals from the beacon chain and 8 Ether mini pools. This is a huge milestone in the success of Rocket Pool!
