ETHChiangmai brings together cypherpunks, builders, and thinkers for a full‑day journey from unease to alliance in the age of AI, surveillance, and cryptography. Through four themed acts—Unease, Seeking, Weapons, and Alliance—the event weaves mini‑talks, open discussions, and workshops on escaping algorithmic control, value misalignment in AI, the coming “fourth crypto war,” private money, digital self‑defense, ZK / Zero Knowledge privacy, and how cypherpunk ideas can take root in the global Chinese world. Inspired by communities like Zuzalu and emerging on‑chain public goods ecosystems, this POAP celebrates your presence in a Chiang Mai gathering where philosophy, technology, and decentralized communities meet to shape a more free and intentional future. The holder of this POAP was part of the biggest TogETHer Tuesday at ETHChiangmai – an extended afternoon and evening moving from ice baths and project shares into a Pre‑Cypherpunk Thinkers Assembly, joined in person by Vitalik.

Devcon is the Ethereum conference for developers, thinkers, and makers. Devcon's mission is to bring decentralized protocols, tools, and culture to the people and make Ethereum more accessible around the world. Devcon is a four-day event, all in one big venue. You'll meet everyone in that one place. Devcon Week will span the entire week of November 9-17, with events before and after Devcon, organized by the local and global Ethereum community.

The address which minted this POAP participated in the KZG Summoning Ceremony: a publicly coordinated ritual to produce a random output. This output will be used in Proto-Danksharding, aka EIP 4844: an Ethereum scaling mechanism which will hopefully enable lower Layer 2 fees and greater global accessibility. EIP-4844 is expected to go live with the Dencun network upgrade in the near future. As of the time of writing, this ceremony was the largest setup of this kind when considering the number of contributions.
