Green Tech made in Germany: Global challenges as an opportunity - How can the transformation toward sustainability be achieved?
The transformation to sustainability is rapidly becoming a central issue - in politics, business, and society. Digitization can be the main enabler for ""creating"" this transformation, which is crucial for all of us. A new industry branch is emerging from the symbiosis of these two topics: GREEN TECH. The companies active in this branch aim to conquer the market with the help of digital technologies through sustainable products and services. German companies are at the forefront - but how capable are they of competing on an international level? Are the political framework conditions right? We at MHP are not only shedding light on this in a joint study with Reutlingen University, but also in this panel. The panel will include experts from various fields - We invite you to look forward to a wide range of perspectives on the German green tech industry. What does the leadership culture of the future look like? When do we need to show our face and when do we need to let our guard down? Why is it not time, but we, who are in charge of all this? Join us for this insightful keynote and find out. Dare to Care. Personal Development Dome Stage | 02:30 - 03:00 pm | Keynote
Break the Bias – How to Break Down Barriers in the Mind and at Work
The human brain is a remarkable product of evolution. Unfortunately, the brain activity that has kept our species alive for millions of years is preventing us from achieving full equality today. At this introductory presentation, you will learn how the human brain reacts instinctively when faced with the unexpected – such as saber-toothed tigers or female leaders in the technology industry. It shows the effects and consequences of stereotyping and prejudice, and what a bias-free world could look like, for example, by becoming allies of disadvantaged people and working together to create a world of opportunity and diversity. The world can only change if we check our own behavior as soon as we are confronted with the unknown. Are you on board? Personal Development Stage P | 04:45 - 05:05 pm | Personal Development
