To commemorate the launch of Rocketpool Atlas on 4/18/23. Atlas allows minipools with only 8 ETH/minipool provided by the node operator. This allows more overall minipools to accomodate a larger quantity of rETH hodlers. Design by RPLgrime.

For the month of February 2023, jcrtp.eth (Joe) has been burning the proverbial midnight oil and working some very long hours to ship Atlas and v1.9 on time. The Rocket Pool community took the time to thank Joe for his amazing work and thank his wife for supporting him during that time. This POAP was awarded to anyone who shared kind words to Joe and his family. POAP developed by superphiz and designed by ShfRyn.

Since the merge, a fully synced execution client is required to successfully propose an attestation. For that reason, Rocket Pool Node Operators without a fallback node could potentially miss attestations for days while their clients are resyncing, pruning, or not working at all. To prevent this, poupas.eth spent his own time and money to build a rescue node, which could be used by anyone in need for free. This POAP celebrates the selfless act by poupas, and will be distributed to anyone who verifiably used the rescue node, or helped people who did. It was a day to remember, the day RPL joined the Binance crypto family. The #trading chat room was lit up like the Las Vegas strip, with hoots and hollers from traders everywhere. The excitement was palpable as people rushed to buy RPL, as if it was the last slice of pizza at a college party. Some even claimed to have seen grown men and women crying tears of joy. It was a true testament to the power of RPL, and a day that will go down in crypto history as the day the world lost its collective mind over a token listing.

On Dec 2nd, a new account joined the Rocket Pool Discord channel, 'rpl-benefactor'. The person offered three steps, 1) message the benefactor with information about what work you have done for Rocket Pool, 2) send your address, and 3) you would get RPL tokens depending on the work you did. Over the next five days, the benefactor distributed over 1000 RPL tokens to over 160 community members. This POAP commemorates the generosity of the Rocket Pool community. The benefactor's wallet was given 1000 RPL by superphiz who received the tokens from Patricio Worthalter. This POAP was created by Sleety and distributed by WaqWaqAttack.

On July 31, 2022 RPL liquidity got tight and the price began to climb. Holders of this POAP were active in the Rocket Pool #Trading discord during the pump.

On May 3, 2022, in a Twitter Space hosted by Ken, a 5 week long famine ended with Langers serving a feast of bread. The loaves stacked high on platters right from the beginning as he summarized the Devconnect trip. DVT remains a loaf in the oven and MEV was hotly debated. The team participated in several panels. Just as the space went live Dave announced that the oDAO bootstrap was to be disabled this month. All mouths watered though as Ken prodded about the 10x node operator proposal Dave had put forward. The team was proposing a change to the EJECTION_BALANCE that will hopefully reduce the ETH requirement. trading was already feeling bread induced inebriation. In parallel, the Rocket Pool team are working on introducing a new Staking as a Service layer based on a node wallet smart contract. In theory, this may allow node operators to provide only RPL and stake ETH. The business applications were appreciated as the Node Operator Association was referenced in helping provide the proper dough recipe. Faced with copious carboloading, Langers pulled back the throttle as discussion shifted to governance. Snapshot is still being set up by Nick while multiple voting strategies are explored. While the pDAO matures, the oDAO will be looking to expand soon. As a parting loaf, Langers revealed that the team will be posting a job listing for two positions.
