This week’s Community Hour POAP celebrates our ongoing Games on Microchains developer challenge—we reviewed early submissions and highlighted the creative ways builders are using Linera’s reactive, microchains-based architecture to power onchain games. We also celebrated major momentum from our Drops campaign, including an all-time high in Twitter followers (+46K!) and over 152,000 submissions. We’re back with a fresh POAP drop for Community Hour—now using the secret-word method! Attendees had to tune in live and catch the passphrase to mint. This week, we talked about our upcoming weekly Developer Workshop on Tuesdays, the ongoing Games on Microchains builder challenge, our community game tournaments, and the latest meme challenge. The address which minted this POAP participated in the KZG Summoning Ceremony: a publicly coordinated ritual to produce a random output. This output will be used in Proto-Danksharding, aka EIP 4844: an Ethereum scaling mechanism which will hopefully enable lower Layer 2 fees and greater global accessibility. EIP-4844 is expected to go live with the Dencun network upgrade in the near future. As of the time of writing, this ceremony was the largest setup of this kind when considering the number of contributions.
