From October 13th to 22nd, in the heart of Paris, Kate Vass Galerie presents Art Salon ‘Node to Node’, a captivating fusion of artistic mediums, bringing together paintings, plotter drawings, post-photography, and site-specific installations. This group show is a celebration of generative & AI artistry featuring renowned artists: Kjetil Golid, Manoloide, Jared S. Tarbell, William Mapan, Iskra Velitchkova, Eko33, Marcelo Soria-Rodriguez, Kevin Abosch, Nancy Burson, Ganbrood, Ivona Tau, Obvious, Helena Sarin, Alkan Avcioğlu, Zancan & Alice Gordon. As an integral part of the exhibition, we proudly present a curated selection from the esteemed French @lemonde2d private collection, featuring the works of Michael Zancan, Phaust, Marcel Schwittlick, Anna Beller & Alejandro Campos, Stuart Batchelor, Andreas Rau, Casey Reas, and Peter Beyls. With over 13 artists unveiling their exclusive artworks for the first time, this exhibition shines a spotlight on the cutting-edge of generative & AI art. The physical representation of natively digital art within the gallery space serves as a bridge between the virtual & tangible, creating a conceptually rich atmosphere. elementum opens a physical gallery for the first time at Circle in Zurich. The gallery will open its doors from September 28, 2022, to December 23, 2022. The first exhibition is dedicated to the project "Edges of the Metaverse" by Aaron Huey and will run until October 27.
The NFT ART DAY ZRH POAP will be issued to all attendees of the first annual NFT and metaverse conference in Switzerland. Created by American artist, Gretchen Andrew, this POAP is based on Andrew's series "Contemporary Art Auction Record (Mint)". Gretchen Andrew manipulates systems of power with art, glitter and code. She is best known for her playful hacks on major art world and political institutions, including Frieze, The Whitney Biennial, Artforum, The Turner Prize, and The Next American President. In these digital performances she reimagines reality with art and desire. Andrew does this by making assemblage “vision boards” that she programs to become top internet search results. The feminine and trivialized materials of her vision boards purposefully clash with the male-dominated worlds of AI, programming, and political control they also operate within. Andrew trained in London with the artist Billy Childish from 2012-2017. In 2018 the V&A Museum released her book "Search Engine Art". Andrew's work has recently been featured in Fast Company, Flash Art, The Washington Post, Fortune Magazine, Monopol, Wirtschaftswoche, The Los Angeles Times, and The Financial Times.
