DAOs or Decentralized Autonomous Organizations have gained traction over the recent years, with the concept being explored as early as Ethereum itself. From a grant giving DAO like Moloch that funds projects making an impact to Ethereum ecosystem, more complex governance mechanisms have been explored by other projects as communities explore ways to decentralize their governance stack. Specific governance roles have also been created such as delegates and subDAOs, opening opportunities for individuals or institutions to play their part in governance for a decentralized future. This month we are having Alexander Popescu, head of marketing at Stablenode.xyz, to share with us their governance advisory work and perspective on the future of DAOs, Governance and the Decentralized Future.
After 2 years since the last Devcon in Japan, Ethereum's flagship annual event is finally back in Bogotá! Akin to a global family reunion, Devcon is a conference for builders of all kinds: developers, designers, researchers, client implementers, test engineers, infrastructure operators, community organizers, social economists, artists, and more. Not everyone will have the opportunity to fly 19,000 Kilometers all the way to Bogotá, and that's why we are bringing Devcon to Malaysia as part of Devcon Satellites!
