In September of 2024, u/Tricky_Troll announced that due to budget concerns he couldn't make it to Hodlercon, despite having plans to attend DevCon 7 in Bangkok. The next day, u/superphiz pledged to match any donations up to $1,000 worth of ETH to help fund his trip.
