Felippe has been working at the F1 event since 1996, starting as race inspector activities, becoming a box attendant in 1997. He was Assistant Box Director for 5 years, between 2004 and 2009, being promoted to Assistant Race Director in 2010. And , since 2016, he has been serving as Race Director. He has overall responsibility for the race flags, the use of safety cars.
