He wallows in his cave. Seeing the where all the presents go. They go into the garbage and pollute. Just like this holy day has been polluted by things. He removes every thing. At the end without the things. The who's realize that they only need each other though the things may be nice. That is when the Grinch learned to love again. All his strength given by love.
