A memento to remember the things you learned. In this video, we reviewed how the levels of immunosuppressive CD71+ erythroid cells (CECs) vary in females and males across species. These data indicate that females have higher levels of CECs which may be caused by anemia, affecting their immune response against bacterial infection.
